Krista Minteer-Baysal holds a bachelors of arts in English Literature from New York University and a masters of arts in International Relations from New School University. She has worked in academic and non-profit settings for almost twenty years where she formally and informally edits and proofreads various documents: anything from press releases to grant proposals, and everything in between. Her beloved, dog-eared copies of The Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary are never far from her side. She also takes every available opportunity to attend copy-editing classes and webinars. She is currently a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association.
Krista approaches every project with enthusiasm and care. She gets a thrill from helping her clients’ work reach its fullest potential. If careful, thoughtful, individual editing is what you are seeking, look no further.
In her spare time, Krista is an avid reader and writer of fiction and short stories. She has high hopes for completing her first novel in 2018.
